It is possible to print on the coated paper with it unlike the laminated paper with polyolefins. Because it is possible to recycle completely the coated paper with it, it does not make the secondary environmental problems.

As a fully refined paraffin wax in water emulsion, it has outstanding wetting and fixing ability to the paper. It gives superior water-resistance, water-repellency and smoothness to paper by making continuous durable film on the paper surface. It is used as an excellent water-repellent agent for tissue paper, liner paper and corrugated board for agricultural and fishery product packaing. It has passed FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and can be used as a coating agent of paper and paperboard for food contact.
